of Money Act (TOMA) provides for the licensing and regulating of companies

instruments or money of the United States government or a foreign government
to or from money of another government for compensation. Sales
Finance Agency Act regulates the licensing and activity of firms that
purchase or make loans secured by the provisions of retail installment
contracts, retail charge agreements or the outstanding balances under
such contracts or agreements. Motor Vehicle Retail Installment Sales Act (MVRISA) establishes regulatory requirements for retail installment sales of motor vehicles including provisions for the protection of consumers and operations of creditors. Retail Installment Sales Act (RISA) establishes regulatory requirements for retail installment sales of goods (other than motor vehicles) and services primarily used for personal, family or household purposes. This Act, like the MVRISA, also includes provisions for the protection of consumers and operations of creditors. Debt
Management Service Act authorizes the licensing and the regulation
of for-profit businesses engaged in debt management by receiving funds
from individual clients and distributing them to their creditors. Development
Credit Corporation Act Development
credit corporations that operate in Illinois are required to be licensed
under the Development Credit Corporation Act. These corporations
assist with the development and advancement of businesses in the
state, and in doing so they help to maintain jobs and provide new
employment opportunities to people living in Illinois. |
